Important plans for the Bucharest city hall in the year when Romania celebrates a hundred years since the Great Union: in the budget of 2018, money is provided for the rebuilding of the Jewish neighbourhood in Bucharest. The announcement was made on Tuesday, when an event dedicated to the 70 years of diplomatic relations between Romania and Israel took place in Bucharest. Attending the event celebrating 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two states, Gabriela Firea, the Mayor General of Bucharest, made a promise to the Jewish community in Bucharest: the rebuilding of the Jewish neighbourhood.
