Romania updates the list of “yellow countries” with mandatory 14-day quarantine

The National Health Public Institute has released the update list of the countries that Romania considers of being from “the yellow area” amid the coronavirus pandemic. Citizens coming from these states to Romania must stay under 14-day quarantine. The measure is coming into force today, August 3.

The Republic of Moldova, the U.S. and Israel remain in the yellow zone, as well as Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

On the other hand, the 14-day quarantine is not valid anymore fro those coming from Russia and Serbia, so these two countries have left the list of “yellow states”.

Therefore, if there were 44 yellow states so far on the list, now there are only 41.

The rest of the countries are considered in the “green area”, so there are no restrictions in place against the entering Romania from these states.
