Romanian man, found dead in a car where he had spent the night after the quake in Italy
A Romanian national has been found dead in his car on Monday morning after the 6.5.-magnitude earthquake that jolted central Italy again during the weekend, sources told the Italian media.
The 56-year-old Romanian man was found dead in Accumoli locality located in Lazio region on Monday morning at 6:40, sources told Corriere della Sera and TRC TV channel.
Several buildings collapsed in Accumoli following the quake occurred on Sunday morning. Accumoli was the epicentre of the 6.2-magnitude earthquake that claimed 298 lives in August.
The Romanian man, like another hundreds of people in the areas jolted by the recent earthquakes, chose to sleep in his car on Sunday night to Monday for fear of the seismic replicas.
The Italian authorities are trying to find the cause of the death, suspecting a cardiac arrest due to the low temperatures. The Romanian immigrant was working at a farm in the neighborhood.
At least 20 were injured, while another 15,000 lost their houses following the earthquake on Sunday morning.
