Romanian Patriarchate urges the priests and the faithful to intensify prayers for “peaceful rain, generating rich fruits of the earth.” During this period, drought seriously affects agricultural crops across the country, a statement from the Romanian Orthodox Church reads, digi24.ro informs.
“In these times of severe drought affecting crops across the country with numerous consequences on people’s lives, the Romanian Patriarchate hierarchs addressed an earnest urge to the clergy and the faithful to intensify prayers for peaceful rain, generating rich fruits of the earth, helpful for people and creatures,” the press release reads.
The representatives of the Patriarchate urge the faithful to trust in an answer to the prayers, according to the word of Jesus Christ – “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11, 24)
