Romanian Royal House releases pictures with King Mihai and Queen Ana to fight rumours

The Romanian Royal House has released pictures with King Mihai I and Queen Ana, ziare,com report. Sources say the move comes to counter the rumours that have circulated lately that King Mihai I is dead and the Royal House keeps it secret.
The Royal Family gave assurances that the King is very much alive in a release on Thursday, adding that Princess Margareta and Prince Radu would pay a visit to King Mihai and Queen Ana next week at their residence in Switzerland.
Rumours about the death of King Mihai I have emerged following a story published by ‘Profit’ and broadcasted by Nasul TV and Realitatea TV saying the king’s death is being covered because the Royal House does not have a proper last resting place for the former monarch. The story claimed King Mihai I is dead for several months and his body is under conservation in a private lab in Zurich.ana si mihairege 2
“The Royal Family reunited at the middle of December in Switzerland, just before Christmas spent at Savarsin. Now, after the winter holidays, their Royal Highnesses will take the gifts by car to Switzerland, along with the messages and the congratulations received for Christmas and for the New Year to their Majesties. Their Royal Majesties and their Royal Highnesses will take part to a festive lunch together with family friends,” the release issued by the Royal House reads. The message is accompanied by pictures.
