Royal House, invitation to Peles Castle on May 10 to celebrate 150 years of existence
The Royal House of Romania has announced in an official release that on May 10, 2016, it will celebrate 150 years of existence and will organise a Royal Garden Party and a concert at the Peles Castle, antena3.ro reports.
On this occasion, the “House of His Majesty will organise a Garden Party and a Royal concert at Peles Castle. The event starts at 17.30h and ends at 19.30h. Entrance is free for everyone. The public will have access to the front lawn and to the Peles Castle alley,” the release reads.
“The Royal Family is expecting as many Romanians to come to Peles Castle for this important celebration for the Crown and for the Romanian nation,” reads the release.
According to the release, the concert will include the enlarged orchestra of the Royal Camerata, violinist Remus Azoitei and tenor Teodor Ilincăi under the baton of conductor Tiberiu Soare. The repertoire will include pieces of Romanian composers George Enescu, Iosif Ivanovici, Ciprian Porumbescu and Grigoraș Dinicu, as well as works by Giacomo Puccini, Saint-Saens Camille, Ernesto de Curtis and Eduardo di Capua.
