King Mihai’s health has worsened and he is marked by accentuated weakness, with significant decrease in resistance, a communiqué released on Monday by the Royal House press bureau informs.
“Crown Princess Margareta has return to Switzerland to be by King’s Mihai side,” the release informs.
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Margareta and Prince Radu have returned to Switzerland Sunday evening, to the residence of His Majesty.
“King Mihai’s general condition has worsened and is marked by weakness, with a significant decrease in resistance. This week, the Royal Family will have a round of meetings with His Majesty’s physicians to discuss the King’s current treatment and to receive their advice in the current circumstances,” the Royal House announces.
In October, the Romanian Royal House announced that King Mihai I is under the doctors’ surveillance, with Princess Maria being in Switzerland to stand by him to celebrate his anniversary.
“Princess Maria is in Switzerland to be with King Mihai upon his birthday. His Majesty is still under the doctors’ permanent supervision, under the same usual treatment,” the Royal House informed two weeks ago.
King Mihai of Romania has turned 96 on October 25.
