The 24-hour strike of the Rynair pilots on Friday is also affecting several flights taking off from Romania or landing to Romania.

The following flights on the Henri Coanda Airport  have been cancelled:

Flight FR315 to Berlin (SFX) leaving at 11:00, flight FR328 to Berlin leaving at 20:15, flight FR2104 to Brussels-Charleroi leaving at 20:50.

-Flight FR314 from Berlin at 10:35 has been also called off, as well as flight FR 327 from Berlin at 19:50, flight FR2103 from Brussels-Charleroi at 20:25.

The pilots of Rynair airline from Germany have joined the strike of the pilots from Ireland, Sweden and Belgium.

400 flights have been cancelled and more than 70,000 of passengers have been affected by what is called as the biggest strike in airline’s history.
The airline says that 250 flights to and from Germany have been cancelled, along with 104 flights serving Belgium, 22 services to and from Sweden, and 20 between Ireland and Britain. Berlin Schonefeld, Gothenburg and Stockholm Skavsta have seen the majority of Ryanair services grounded.

Pilots in Sweden, the Netherlands and Belgium want to be employed according to local law rather than on Irish contracts.

Despite the regrettable and unjustified strike action taking place in five of our 37 markets, over 2,000 Ryanair flights will operate as normal, carrying almost 400,000 passengers across Europe. We ask the striking unions to continue negotiations instead of calling any more unjustified strikes,” Rynair tweeted.
