Simona Halep advises Romanians to vote in the runoff
Tennis player No.3 WTA Simona Halep wrote a message on his official Facebook page urging Romanians to go to the polls next week, in the run-off elections. “I cast my vote last Sunday and I will do the same next week, inspired by a feeling of responsibility for my country, a feeling that I always have when I am on the tennis court”, Simona wrote, underling she is not on any politician’s side.
“How can you win if you don’t play? How can Romania win if we don’t go to polls?” she continued, concluding with an advice:”I say we all go cast our votes and vote according to our conscience. May Romania win!”
Simona Halep exceeded one million Facebook fans on Wednesday. She thanked all her supporters with his occasion: “I don’t know how one million people look like, but 1 million fans surely sounds good. Thank you all!”.
