The statisticians argue that the monthly evolution of the number of deaths and births during the June 2021- June 2023 period shows a significant increase in the number of deaths in October 2021, when, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the highest number of deaths of the entire period was reported. In the first five months of 2023, the birth and death figures had the same evolution; decreases in both vital events were reported in June 2023 compared to the previous month.
