Mountain rescuers from Maramures have saved a Czech tourist who had plunged into a ravine while driving a ATV.

The Czech man was not wearing any helmet and he’s got a head wound. A colleague called 112 and asked for help.

Mountain rescuers went on the search mission with a helicopter, also helped by hunters, as there was the risk that the victim is attacked by wild animals.

After he was saved, the tourist was taken to the Emergency Hospital in Baia Mare, with multiple injuries on his head and chest, but in stable condition.
