Death toll in Crevedia explosions climbs to 5

One of the civilians injured in the first explosion in Crevedia died on Tuesday morning. He is one of the Nepalese employees of the LPG station, who was admitted to Bagdasar Arseni Hospital.

The injured person had burns over 95% of his body surface. It is one of the three big burns that could not be transferred abroad. The man was a little over 30 years old. He is the fifth victim of the tragedy.

On Monday morning, a man who had suffered burns on 95% of his body surface following the explosion at the LPG station in Crevedia died at the Floreasca Hospital.

Two people, a husband and a wife, died at the scene of the incident, and then another injured person admitted to Floreasca Hospital died due to burns on 99% of his body.

There are still 14 patients in hospitals among those injured after the Crevedia explosions – six are at the Floreasca Hospital, two at Bagdasar Arseni, five at the Burns Hospital and one at the University Hospital. 27 patients were discharged. 12 were taken abroad, four of them were intubated.
