Dog days are ending the summer
Ten counties in western and northeastern country are under orange code warning for heat on Monday and Tuesday. The rest of the country will be under yellow code warning, the National Meteorology Administration informed.
The maximum temperatures will mount to 35-37 Celsius degrees in all regions, while the temperature-moisture index will exceed the critical threshold of 80 units particularly across the plane and plateau areas.
Satu Mare, Bihor, Arad, Timis, Caras-Severin, Mehedinti, Botosani, Iasi, Bacau and Vaslui will fall under the orange code warning for extreme heat, with temperatures rising to 37-38 Celsius degrees.
