Monthly allowances of RON 500-750 for employers who hire graduates
Employers who employ graduates of education institutions on indeterminate term will receive, for 12 months, monthly allowances of RON 500-750 for each graduate employed, the National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) announced on Tuesday.
“Subsidies are granted to employers for 12 months for each graduate employed, the condition being that they be registered as people looking for a job at the territorial agencies for employment. Thus, according to Law no. 76/2002 on unemployment insurance and employment stimulation, for each graduate employed the employers will receive the following amounts: RON 500 for graduates of lower secondary schools or schools of arts and crafts; RON 600 for graduates from upper secondary school or secondary education; RON 750 for university graduates,” reads the ANOFM release.
“The employers who maintain employment or service relationships after 18 months will receive, for each year to continue these relationships, financial aid equal to the amount of social security contributions owed to these people and paid according to the law,” the release concludes.
