The National Meteorology Administration issued a Yellow Code warning for heavy rainfalls during June 2, 12:00 –June 3, 21:00.
So, the atmospheric instability will be high in all Romanian regions in the upcoming two days where showers, lightning flashing and strong wind will prevail. Rainstorms and hail are also expected.
The counties mostly affected will be Suceava, Botoșani, Neamț, Iași, Bacău, Vaslui, Galați, Vrancea, Buzău, Prahova, Dâmbovița, Argeș, Covasna and Harghita.
Water quantities will reach 15…20 liters/sqm and in Moldova and Eastern and Southern Carpathians, the rainfalls will exceed 40…80 liters/sqm.
The forecasters also warn that moderate rains will occur on Wednesday night to Thursday and in the first part of Thursday in the southwestern regions and in the mountains.
