Romania will switch to winter time on Saturday night to Sunday, with 4 a.m. turning to 3 a.m. The day of October 25 will have 25 hours, thus will be the longest night of the year.

The official daylight saving time is applied from the last Sunday of March to the last Sunday of October. For winter time switch, the clocks are set back by one hour, making October 25 the longest day of the year.

The winter time switch will not amend the timetable. The trains will leave the stations following the official summer time until the night of October 24 to October 25, at 4 a.m., which becomes 3 a.m.
