The Special Telecommunication Service (STS), the central specialized structure that coordinates the activities in the special telecommunications sector in Romania, has announced on Thursday that it had notified the Military Prosecutor’s Office to investigate if the 112 operator who took over and processed the call in the first attack at Costin Georgian metro station had broken the law.

STS says that regarding the incident at Costin Georgian metro station the 112 emergency telecom service has received one call at 16:31:15, which lasted two minutes and two seconds. The other call announcing the attack at the Dristor metro station was made at 19:56:52 and was transferred to the emergency centers of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the Bucharest Ambulance Service, the Bucharest Police and the General Directorate of Gendarmes in Bucharest.

The STS announcement comes after the father of the first girl attacked by Magdalena Serban had said the authorities had processed his complaint too slowly.
