Almost 120 persons heading fromAmsterdam to Bucharest on Saturday evening aboard a TAROM flight remained on the Schipol airport because of an aircraft malfunction.

114 passengers eventually arrived in Romania on Sunday morning, but other six have been “forgotten” in the airport. The lost six passengers arrived in Bucharest on Sunday night.

Some passengers slept on benches or even directly on the ground in the waiting room. People accused the airline hadn’t granted them any kind of support, complaining that the TAROM representative in Amsterdam had come to them too late.

TAROM announced it would reimburse the passengers, while the head of the company’s office in Amsterdam will be dismissed after the incident.

TAROM will observe the laws and will grant compensations to the affected passengers. The new director general (editor note- Wolff Werner-Wilhelm) asked for the passenger list in order to personally contact them, but he hasn’t received it yet. He also decided to recall the head of the Amsterdam TAROM office,” sources told the local media.

At the same time, a task force was set up at TAROM for the Amsterdam-Bucharest flight.
