Softelligence, the technology, and consulting company, together with its Engineering division from Craiova, announces they will extend the current partnership with the National Robotics Team of Romania for another two years, within its social responsibility program called CSR Generation Tomorrow.

Softelligence support will consist in both financial and human resources, as advanced technology and consulting knowledge for various projects’ implementation, but also their presentation abroad will be available to the members of the National Robotics Team of Romania. Softelligence will thus be the main sponsor in the software industry for the talented team that recently won a well-deserved silver trophy at the International Robotics Championship in Saint Petersburg.

In 2021, Softelligence also supported the Romanian National Robotics Team to participate in the Dubai 2020 International Exhibition of Technology and Innovation. The series of events gathered under the umbrella of Expo Dubai 2020 started at the end of 2021 and will end this year in March.

“It is well-known that the software industry in Romania needs more and more talented, well-trained, and agile human resources, which can quickly adapt to the latest technologies on the market. To be able to access these talents over the years, we need to train them now. Innovation and creativity must be supported at all costs. That’s why we created this program – Generation Tomorrow – that’s why we invest in today’s talents to inspire tomorrow’s generations “, said Adrian Blidăruș, CEO of Softelligence.

“Softelligence Engineering team is thrilled to sustain this project and to have an active contribution to the program that supports young talent, future employees in technical fields that are fully developing now,” said Sorin Găvănescu, Managing Partner of Softelligence Engineering.

Ionuț Panea, AutoVortex coordinator, said: “The International Robotics Championship in St. Petersburg was a unique opportunity to test our new robot model. We appreciated our Russian hosts’ hospitality as well as the fair play that defined this contest.

We are preparing for the International Robotics Championships in Libya and South Korea, both of which will take place in February. The partnership with Softelligence brings us new opportunities to get closer to the business environment while the support of our educational project encourages us to continue to innovate and to grow a new generation of leaders in the field of programming and robotics. ”

The support of the Romanian National Robotics Team is the third project of the CSR program “Generation Tomorrow” and focuses on practical education and innovation. In the early stages of this program, announced in early 2021, Softelligence was involved in the ” SOS Planet Scholarship” (a project run by SOS Satele Copiilor Romania), but also in the projects of the “Daruieste Viata” Association, Lindenfeld Association “Ajungem Mari”, of the TIBERIUS Association and Hope and Homes for Children.

The National Robotics Team of Romania – AutoVortex is a project of the Romanian Association of Economic Studies. AutoVortex was born in a garage in the city of Voluntari in 2012. From 2014 until now, the team has participated in international competitions where it has won many awards, including: “First Tech Challenge”, Tarragona Robotics Festival, Robofest Russia, CEESA First Technical Challenge (FTC).
