Superior Council of Magistracy orders checks at DIICOT and all prosecutor’s offices on child trafficking files
The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) has notified the Judicial Inspection to conduct checks to DIICOT and to all prosecutor’s offices on the files related to child trafficking and human trafficking.
The move comes in the light of the Caracal crime case, following criticism that the file on Luiza Melencu’s disappearance had not been managed properly.
The prosecutor’s offices upon courts and tribunals will have to report on they way they investigated criminal files on kidnapping, murder, in the light of the recent disclosures on more people, particularly children and teenagers, who are reported missing.
