So the war is with us 1,5 years now and the logistics supply chain has found alternative sources and roots. We are stable now. In all Europe the prices have returned to pre pandemic levels. What is happening in Bucharest Sector 1 and all is still rising? You can not be charged €3,60 for a to-go Cappuccino coffee when the same in ? similar area in Athena is €2,20 or a simple baguette in Baneassa Shopping City €5,20 when you can buy it for €1,40 in a similar neighbourhood in Paris! This is impressive. So what is the problem: No consumer culture here and they pay whatever they are asked to and the liberal entrepreneurs get greedy and continue to raise prices. Inflation in a new market like Romania is a killer. If self market regulation does not work, then hard State regulation should step in.
