Tarom flight returns to Bucharest after one hour, due to window crack

Tarom flight Bucharest-Barcelona, which took off from Henri Coanda Airport at 8.49h, returned after about one hour, due to a crack in one of the aircraft’s windows, the company informs.

“Tarom flight ROT 421 Bucharest-Barcelona on April 26, 2018, a Boeing 737-300 aircraft, which took off from Henri Coanda Airport at local time 8.49h, returned after about one hour, due to a small crack in one of the aircraft’s windows,” a Tarom release on Thursday reads.

The company representatives stress that the decision made by the aircraft commander is according to the aircraft’s flight manual and that the passengers’ safety was not at risk at anytime.

The plane landed safely at Henri Coanda International Airport and the passengers were to take off to the initial destination.
