Tarom plane flies back to Brussels following engine’s technical problem
A plane of Romania’s flag carrier Tarom has flown back to Brussels 20 minutes after taking off to Bucharest after a problem has been tracked down on the engine.
Brussels-Bucharest TAROM ROT 372 flight on June 13, operated by a BOEING 737-700 aircraft, which took off from Brussels at 10:26 local time, had to fly back to the Belgium Capital after 20 minutes due to a technical problem discovered on one of the engines, Tarom explained.
The plane was still in the Belgian air space when the pilots have tracked down the problem. The aircraft is 13-year-old. It was supposed to land in Bucharest around 13:00.
One of the passengers, journalist Rares Bogdan recounted the incident, saying that a terrible bang has been heard. “Do you know how is like to get on top of the clouds in full ascent to 7/8,000 and hear a terrible bang in the plane’s belly?”, the journalist posted on Facebook.
