The earthquakes jolt Buzau County in 12 hours

Three earthquakes with magnitude above 3 degrees on Richter scale occurred in Buzau County in less than 12 hours, according to the National Institute for Earth Physics (INFP), the strongest being of 3.7 degrees at 2.00h last night. The quake occurred at a depth of 123 kilometres.

The other two earthquakes, of 3.5 and 3.3 degrees on Richter scale, took place Tuesday afternoon at depths of more than 130 kilometres.

The strongest quake this year, of 4.6 degrees, took place on March 14, in Vrancea region.
