The first „vertical village” in Romania to be ready next year

An exquisite residential district is under construction in Timisoara, western Romania. Inspired by the original circular village in Banat, Charlottenburg, unique in Romania, the new „vertical village” will be a green residential district placing residents in the heart of the project that will completed in 2020.

Charlottenburg’s circular village, declared a national historical monument, has an original city planning architecture, placing common spaces in the middle of the settlement, and houses arranged in a circle, with the gardens in the back, so practically people are living in the center.

Werk Property Group, the developers of the the „vertical village” project, called Vox Vertical Village, believe that the convenience of a house must be dubbed by high quality conditions, similar to the ones of a hotel.

Over one third of the area of the vertical village is represented by green space and terraces. The residential compound will get together 120 apartments in a 10-floor building that will look like a “vertical forest” accommodating over 1,000 bushes and various plants that will be planted both inside the building and also on the terraces.

The 7,000-sqm vertical village’s costs mount to EUR 14 million. The residential compound located on Calea Torontalului in Timisoara will be completed next year. 20 pc of the apartments are already sold.
