The most sought-after jobs in Romania this year

Almost 3,5 million resumes have been filed in 2018 by the candidates applying on eJobs online recruitment platform, a study says, quoted by Digi24. Most of the job seekers have applied for such fields as sales, accounting and human resources.

The sales field has lured most of the applicants- 700,000, just like last year. 400,000 job seekers have applied for accounting positions and almost 200,000 for HR.

The most sough-after sectors are still the outsourcing services like call centers, back-office, transport and logistics, administration and horeca, banking, legal affairs and IT&software.

Other sectors where companies were massively recruiting this year have been the transports, food&horeca, back office, production, construction or engineering.

As for the most active cities in terms of hiring, the first was the labour market in Bucharest, with 42,000 jobs offered this year. Cluj-Napoca ranks second (8,726 ads), Iasi (4,662 ads), Timisoara (4,652) and Brasov (3,549).

The survey shows that the applicants who wanted to apply for a job abroad had 2,400 options at disposal, and most of the offers came from UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands.
