The Telegraph has published an article on Sunday about the former Prince Nicholas of Romania, late King Michael’s grandson, removed from the line of succession of the Romanian Royal House in August 2015. Nicholas Medforth – Mills told an interview for the British daily that he will return to Romania with his new wife this weekend, in order to live here from now on.

The only son of Princess Elena, the second of King Michael’s five daughters, Medforth-Mills is his eldest male heir – and at the centre of a bitter row over the line of succession to a throne that no longer exists,” The Telegraph writes.

Tall, dark, handsome and down to earth (…) Known as the “popular prince” in Romania, with his beautiful new wife Alina Binder by his side it’s no stretch to see why the couple have been dubbed the country’s “Harry and Meghan,” the newspaper says about Nicholas Medforth-Mills.

The UK daily also tackles the delicate issue of his current row with the Royal Family of Romania sparked after Nicholas has been stripped of his royal prince title and removed from the line of succession.

The last Romanian King’s grandson says he doesn’t want to pose a threat to his aunt’s, Crown Princess Margareta’s authority. He also speaks about the baby he would have fathered out of wedlock, arguing he doesn’t think this was the reason of him being expunged from the Royal Family of Romania.
