Meteorologists announced there will be torrential rains all through the country, with unstable weather to persist till Wednesday morning, according to a weather alert issued by the National Meteorology Administration.
There will torrential rain in the eastern half of Romania and locally in the mountains, as well as thunderstorms, intense wind gusts and hail.
Water falls will exceed 15-20 liters per square meter, and even 25-50l/sqm in some areas.
The weather alert targets the entire country and is valid from Monday, June 14, at 10:00hrs till Wednesday, June 16, at 10:00hrs.
