Romanian Police will have all radars in traffic in the coming three days, a release informs
“As of today, countrywide, all radars will be on the roads and highways to prevent traffic accidents. For three days all radars will be used to find those who exceed the speed limit. Video equipment and portable speed detectors will also be used,” an IGPR release on Friday reads.
According to the source, ethylo-testers and drug-testers will also be used to detect and sanction those under the influence of alcoholic beverages or of psychoactive substances.
The IGPR states that in the first 5 months of this year, speeding generated 17% of the serious road accidents recorded in our country.
