Two outbreaks of African swine fever have been confirmed in Paratlagele and Panatau localities, the Institute for Diagnosis and Animal Health in Bucharest has informed in Sunday.

The two outbreaks affect two small exploitations in the mentioned localities, Buzau Prefect, Carmen Ichim, has said.

A third suspicion of outbreak could be confirmed later in Sunday in Patarlagele locality, near the confirmed outbreaks, in Buzau County, stiri.tvr.ro reports.

The Prefect argues that the African swine fever might have been brought from Frecatei village, Tulcea County, by the father of one of the owners in the localities confirmed with outbreaks.
