“Romania said YES! We don’t want to be led by thieves!” the organisers said.
“We invite you today, as of 19.30h, in Victoriei Square, to celebrate the Victory, but also in solidarity with the revolt all Romanians abroad feel for not being able to cast their votes. The referendum requested by the civic society and initiated by President Klaus Iohannis has shown, overwhelmingly, that Romanians want independent justice and a political class that is not placed above the law. The Romanian society said clearly, yesterday: ‘Thieves in jail, without the possibility to receive pardon from the sentence!” the page dedicated to the event reads.
The second rally was summoned at 21.00h.
“Dragnea Farewell Party Celebration! Bring champagne, confetti, cherries, everything you’ve got!” Leonard Dumitru wrote on the Facebook page dedicated to the event.
