The former Prince Nicolae’s wedding with Alina Maria Binder is approaching. The event will take place in Sinaia on September 30. The religious ceremony will be held at the Church of St. Elijah, and the party at Sinaia Casino. Locals and tourists are also looking forward for the wedding. Almost everyone would like to be among the guests, stiri.tvr.ro informs.

The wedding preparations are in full swing. It seems former Prince Nicolae (Nicholas de Roumanie Medforth Mills – King Michael’s nephew) is still waiting for an answer from Crown Custodian, Princess Margareta, whom he asked if she would honor him to be his wedding godmother.

The number of guests to arrive from 13 countries is not known. Among the guests are ambassadors and members of some royal families. Security measures will be strict.

The road traffic between the Church of St. Elijah and the Sinaia Casino, where the party will take place, could be closed on September 30.

The two chose to marry religiously in Sinaia because the city is an important one for the family of the former prince Nicolae.

About the wedding, the two said it would be a traditional Romanian one. In Sinaia had also married Princess Ileana, the daughter of King Ferdinand, 70 years ago.

King Mihai’s nephew proposed to Alina Maria Binder during the holiday spent together in Cornwall. The wedding ring is dated July 29, 2017.

Nicolae is 33 years old and won the sympathy of Romanians in 1992, when he accompanied King Michael on the first visit allowed by the Romanian authorities after the exile imposed by the communist regime. At the age of 25, Nicholas received the title of the Prince, and since 2008 he has participated in several actions, ecological and charitable.

In an unprecedented move, Romania’s Royal House announced in August 2015 that Prince Nicolae, the son of Princess Elena, has been removed from the line of succession to the defunct Romania’s throne and has been also stripped of the “Romania’s Prince” and “Royal Highness” titles.

The press reported that the decision came as a result of the fact that he allegedly was to become the father of a child whom he would not recognize. The baby, a little girl, was born in February 2016. Nicolae asked the mother, through his lawyer, to perform a paternity test, but the young woman refused.
