Yellow Code for heat wave for 31 counties and Bucharest on Thursday and Friday

The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued on Wednesday a Yellow Code warning for heat wave and thermal discomfort during August 6-7 for 31 counties and for Bucharest.
According to meteorologists, on Thursday, August 6 and on Friday, August 7, in Banat, Crisana, Maramures, Oltenia, Muntenia regions, most of Transylvania and the southern half of Moldavia maximum temperatures will reach 35-37 degrees Celsius and the temperature-humidity index (THI) will exceed the critical threshold of 80 units.
ANM notes that on Wednesday afternoon in the south and west of the country and isolated in the centre, the thermal discomfort will increase and temperatures will peak locally to 35-36 degrees C.
