15-year-old Ana Paula Rada from Romania has qualified in the finals of The Voice Portugal music contest after impressing the jury and the public with a Romanian famous song, “Copacul/The Tree”.
The teen girl, born in Tatarani, Dambovita county, has been studying canto for six years and the piano for five years in Portugal, where she is living with her parents, gazetadambovitei.ro reported.
Ana Paula Radu said during the show that she is dreaming of a career in opera and theatre.
The Romanian girl sang Maria Callas’ “O mio babbino caro” at the blind auditions, making all four members of the jury turn around.
