August gigs in Bucharest: Rihanna, Sia and Steve Aoki, for the first time in Romania

Rihanna will come for the first time to sing in Romania on August 14, just like Sia and Steve Aoki, who will perform on August 15 and August 17 respectively. All three most-expected gigs are due in Constitutiei Square.

The superstar from Barbados, Rihanna will perform live in Bucharest on August 14. “The concert of the year in Romania” as the event’s organizers name it, the gig is part of The Anti World Tour 2016, promoting the artist’s latest album, “Anti”. Other famous hits like “Umbrella”, “Rude Boy”, “Four Five Seconds” or “We Found Love” will not miss the show either.

Zutopia Music Festival also brings in the Constitutiei Square other internationally renowned artists, but also national stars on August 15-17; among the headliners there are Steve Aoki and Sia.

Steve Aoki, a famous American electro-house musician will perform in the first day of the festival, on July 15.

Sia is the headliner of the festival’s second day, performing next to Fallulah (Maria Apetri, a Romanian-born Danish artist), Selah Sue (Sanne Greet A. Putseys, from Belgium) and Oh Land (Nanna Øland Fabricius, an indie-pop artist from Denmark).

Sia will enchant the audience with her famous hits, “Chandelier”, “Elastic Heart”, “Alive”.

Romanian band Vita de Vie and Domino will sing at Casa Universitarilor on August 4 while Romanian rockers Cristian Minculescu and Iris will perform at Beraria H on August 30.

Beraria H from the Herastrau Park will organize several concerts during this month within the “Acoustic Garden – Music Under the Tree” project. The entrance is free.

The sixth edition of the Summer Well Festival at Stirbey Palace in Buftea is due on August 13-14, with The Chemical Brothers, Hurts, Years & Years, The Neighbourhood, Crystal Fighters, Milky Chance, BØRNS, Blossoms, Sundara Karma and HÆLOS performing.

Bucharest GreenSounds Festival 2016 will seize the August 27-28 weekend in Herastrau Park in Bucharest.
