Best ToTo ballads to be heard on June 27 at Palace Hall

ToTo, one of the most prominent bands of the 70s and 80s, will perform the first gig in Bucharest, on June 27, 2015. The concert will take place at the Palace Hall (Sala Palatului), the audience in Romania having the opportunity to enjoy the most famous songs like ” Hold the Line,” “Africa,” “Rosanna,” “I Will not Hold You Back.” An event organized by Pheonix Entertainment. Tickets are available in Eventim and Sala Palatului network : eventim.ro and salapalatului.ro, at the following prices: RON 450 and RON 121.5.
ToTo is an undeniable a symbol of pop-rock culture and are among the few bands that have kept their original style, despite all changes in the music trends, rejoicing over the 36 year career of a wide base of fans generations. Working in a wide variety of projects, the mark of each band member can be heard on an impressive number of over 5,000 albums, which have brought sales of half a billion copies worldwide.
Their performances were recognized by NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences). Also, Toto received no less than 225 Grammy nominations. As a band, Toto has sold 35 million albums and even today it continues to fill up stadiums and concert halls throughout the world.
ToTo is an American rock band formed in 1977 in Van Nuys in Greater Los Angeles, California. The band’s current line-up consists of Joseph Williams (lead vocals), David Paich (keyboards, vocals), Steve Porcaro (keyboards), Steve Lukather (guitars, vocals), and Keith Carlock (drums). Original bass player David Hungate is currently scheduled to tour with Toto as a guest musician, as Mike Porcaro died on March 15, 2015. ToTo is known for a musical style that combines elements of pop, rock, soul, funk, progressive rock, hard rock, R&B, blues, and jazz.
The band has released a total of 17 albums and was also honored with several Grammy Awards. It and was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009.
