The event also halted in Bucharest and Chisinau in the autumn of last year. The Polish Institute in Bucharest together with its local partners selected four of the best Polish movies of 2013, while viewers in Balti will be able to also see „Ida” directed by Pawe? Pawlikowski, awarded at Oscar ceremony this year.
The festival will kick off with „The Doll”, an unsual biography presenting the life of the first Roma poetess in Poland and the price she paid for her talent. „Wanting to live” is another movie to be screened at the festival, bringing in the limelight the world of a young man who, although suffering of cerebral palsy, teaches the others how to live a free life.
„Baby blues” tells the story of a teen mom who learns what responsibility means while keeping her joy of living.
Good spirits are guaranteed by „A ticket to moon” comedy, a road movie depicting a story on ageing in Poland during the 60s.
