Circulation(s) photo festival dedicated to the young European artists, taking place in France since 2011, is arriving in Bucharest on June 20, running through July 14. The event is hosted by Rezidenţa BRD Scena9, free access.
The festival is dedicated to the European photo diversity, aiming to promote young talented artists, photographers.
On the occasion of the France-Romania Season, the festival held in Paris during April 20-June 30, had five Romanian young photographers as invited guests.
Therefore, the organisers are bringing eight young photographers from France, Italy, Romania and Ukraine in Bucharest, whose exhibitions will go on display until July 14.
“It is essential that today, 30 years after the fall of the communism, to see a generation of young artists, most of them born after 1989, who are using photography as a natural dialogue with the artists around the world”, said Jean-Jacques Garnier (general commissioner for France of the Season) and Andrei Ţărnea (general commissioner for Romania).
The event is organised by the Romanian Foreign Ministry, French Institute, Expo Arte Cultural Centre and Rezidenţa Scena9.
