Ibrahim Maalouf concert in Bucharest on November 19

Lebanese trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf comes for the first time in Bucharest with his latest project, Kalthoum – a show dedicated to and inspired by Egyptian opera diva Umm Kulthum, the most famous voice of the Arab world.

The artist has recently signed with the American jazz record label Impulse! Records.

On November 19 he will go on stage alongside Frank Woeste (piano), Rick Margitza (saxophone), Scott Colley (bass) and Clarence Penn (percussion).

The event is supported by the Embassy of Lebanon in Romania and by the French Institute in Bucharest and is part of the concert series Jazz Night Out, presented by Twin Arts.

The concert takes place on November 19, at 8 pm at Sala Radio/Radio Hall.

Tickets cost RON 95, 135, 155 by category and can be purchased through the Eventim network (Germanos, Orange Shop, Vodafone, Domo stores, Humanitas and Carturesti bookstores) and online at www.eventim.ro.
