Ticket category for the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra in Bucharest is sold out
The Romanian Athenaeum stage will turn into a SWING era temple in March to bring back to life the music of the 30-s and 40s.
The second category of tickets (RON 250) for the Glenn Miller Orchestra concert are sold out, the organizers from the German Quality Entertainment informed. The world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra conducted by Wil Salden is coming to Romania for the first time, with the concert taking place at the Romanian Athenaeum on March 11, as of 8 p.m.
The orchestra’s latest tour, “It’s Glenn Miller Time!”, lasting two years and touring 130 countries, will make a stop in Bucharest on March 11, 2017. The Sweet & Swing concert is hosted by the Romanian Athenaeum, starting 8 p.m, with the gala stage turning into a temple of the Swing era that brings back to life the musical harmonies of the 30s and 40s, which are undoubtedly defining the American culture and life of those time.
The band vocalists will offer a memorable goose-bumps in full harmony with the beautiful compositions written by swing legend Glenn Miller.
The special moment of the Swing night will have the MOON in the pipeline: “Moonlight Serenaders” & “Blue Moon”.
At the same time, famous “In the Mood”, “Pennsylvania 6-5000”, “String of Pearls”, “Chattanooga Choo Choo”, “At Last” are some other evergreens that will go live in Bucharest.
