Five of the most original and remarkable Polish current artists are coming to Bucharest for the „News from Polska” festival, presenting an electronic music concert and four theatre, dance and performance shows at the National Centre of Dance in the last weekend in February and the first one in March. The event is a joint project developed by the National Centre of Dance and the Polish Institute in Bucharest.
The idea of „News from Polska” micro-festival is to present some original and representative productions to the Bucharest audience. Most of the protagonists are women, who managed to form a majority group among the Polish graduates of the art school in the past years.
The performances reach various topics: the childhood memory, the absurd and self irony, the human being and the nation faced to the tragedy, the Holocaust, man-nature report.
