DaKINO film festival in early March
The 26th edition of the DaKINO International Film Festival is due in early March in several venues in Bucharest: Cinema Pro, Horia Bernea Studio – The Peasant Museum Cinema and ARCUB, during March 1-5.
The festival will kick off with a premiere screening in Romania: “Manchester by the sea“, directed by Kenneth Lonergan, and starring Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams. The film received six Oscar nominations this year for the best film, the best director, the best original script, the best leading actor, the best supporting actor and the best supporting actress.
The DaKINO short film competition is counting 26 foreign and Romanian productions.
The films will be screened at the ARCUB Hallon March 2,3 and 4, and the entire shorts competition will be available on March 5 in a marathon screening at the Peasant Museum Cinema.
DaKINO 26 is organized by the FAMart Association and the DaKINO Foundation, with the support of the National Cinema Centre and ARCUB.
