Dolls exhibition at National Village Museum

povesti_papusiVisual art exhibition “Fairytales with and about dolls” will go on display at the National Village Museum “Dimitrie Gusti” as of Sunday, March 8, starting eleven o’clock.

The one-off oversized doll, inspired by cultural areas such as Africa, India, Japan, Mexico, Germany, France, UK, USA or the ex-Soviet space, is the hardcore of the display. Young artists‘ works will bring into the limelight famous or unknown fairytales that take shape of the customized dolls, made of printed or woven fabrics, adorned with stylistic themes.

The exhibition is opened daily between March 8-31, from 09:00 to 17:00, at the Glass Hall of the museum.
