Eurovision 2019 – Romania Decides. Netta Barzilai, winner of Eurovision 2018, to perform in Bucharest on Sunday

This Sunday night, live from the Sala Polivalenta Bucharest, Romania will choose their representative for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.
At the 63rd contest in Lisbon, Romania failed to qualify for the Grand Final by just 4 points, but are hoping to once again take centre stage at Europe’s favourite Music show.
12 songs have qualified for Sunday’s Final, 6 each from 2 Semi Finals that were staged in Lasi and Arad and now it’s up to the Romanian public plus an expert Jury panel to decide who will follow in the footsteps of ‘The Humans’ to be the country’s representative in Israel this coming May.

The show will be broadcast live and exclusively on TVR 1, TVR, TVRi, TVR HD, Moldova and online.
A genuine musical phenomenon, Netta Barzilai, winner of Eurovision 2018, will have a live performance during the National Selection Final.
Netta said, “Performing in Romania’s preliminary competition for the ESC is such an honour for me, I’m so excited to visit Bucharest and celebrate with all the different incredible people there. Let’s burn the stage!”
Netta Barzilai will perform on the stage from Polivalenta Hall the unique style that made her famous. On Sunday, the Romanian public will have the chance to see her performing both the Eurovision-winning “Toy” and her most recent hit, “Bassa Sababa.
