Fado queen Dulce Pontes comes back in Bucharest

Portuguese singer Dulce Pontes, also known as ‘ the contemporary fado queen’ will perform again in Bucharest, at Sala Palatului/Palace Hall on October 27, starting 8 p.m., enchanting Romanian fans with hits such as “Caminhos”, “Cancao Do Mar” or “Fado Portugues”.

According to Project Events, the tickets’ prices are ranging from RON 50, RON 100, RON 150 to RON 200 and RON 250. Tickets are available in Librarium and Eminescu bookshops, Sala Palatului, in Flanco, Domo, Vodafone, Orange stores, at Carrefour hypermarket, at Palatul National al Copiilor and BiletFan shop, but also online at biletoo.ro, bilet.ro, blt.ro, myticket.ro, eventim.ro, ticketstore.ro, ticketnet.ro or salapalatului.ro.

Dulce Pontes has performed in Romania also in 2006 and 2014.

Pontes started her career as a mainstream pop artist, but over the years she has evolved to become a world music performer. She blends traditional fado with contemporary styles and searches out new forms of musical expression.

She introduced musical traditions of the Iberian Peninsula in her work, rediscovered many long forgotten popular tunes, while reviving obsolete musical instruments. Her work is also inspired and influenced by Arabic, African, Brazilian and Bulgarian sounds.
