“A Love Story” by Cristina Iacob to race at Mons Love Film Festival

“A Love Story” feature film directed by Cristina Iacob was selected for the competition of the International Love Film in Mons, a Belgian city that holds “the European Cultural Capital” title this year, next to Plze? in the Czech Republic. The International Love Film Festival in Mons is due during February 20-27.
According to the festival’s official website, other two Romanian movies were selected in the international competition for short films: “Vera” by Dorian Bogu?? and “The flavours’ collection” by Igor Cobileanski.
Other two Romanian productions will be screened outside de competition, in the Panorama section: “Entre midi et 15 heures” directed by Alina Teodorescu and “Ela, Panda and Madam” by Andrei R?u?u.
“A Love Story” tells a moving love story between Aprilia, an actress searching for fame and Sebastian, a young violinist.
“Vera” is the story of a 20 year-old young man who, rejected by his lover, is looking for consolation in the arms of a prostitute.
Igor Cobileanski’s short film, which was also screened at Cannes Festival, within the Romanian Short Waves section, presents the story of a little boy, Victor and of his father. Both father and son choose a hard and dangerous way to provide some medicines for Victor’ s mother.
