New film productions – that’s what the 19th edition of the CinePOLSKA Polish Film Festival offers from November 15 to 22, 2023.

This year, the CinePOLSKA Polish Film Festival has partnered with the “Vistula” Film Festival in Poland, providing the Romanian audience with an even richer program.

The 2023 edition adopts a hybrid format, featuring physical screenings at the Elvire Popesco cinema in Bucharest from November 15 to 17, and online screenings on the TIFF Unlimited platform (unlimited.tiff.ro) from November 15 to 22.

At Elvire Popesco, three films – “Filip,” “Iluzia/Illusions,” and “Frânturi/Shreds” – will be presented, and they won’t be available online. Tickets for the screenings can be purchased online on eventbook.ro or at the cinema’s box office.

On the TIFF Unlimited platform, viewers can watch four feature films and three sets of short films created by graduates of film schools in Łódź, Warsaw, and Katowice. Access to the films is free, and creating an account on the platform is not required.”

The organizer of the festival is the Polish Institute in Bucharest, in collaboration with the Nowa Przestrzeń Foundation from Warsaw.

Funding: Polish Film Institute in Warsaw

Partners: French Institute Romania, Transilvania Film.
