George Enescu National Museum hosts events on National Culture Day
Exhibitions and performances are scheduled at the George Enescu National Museum in celebration of National Culture Day, marked on January 15, the day of the birth of Romanian national poet, Mihai Eminescu. George Enescu National Museum is accommodated at the Cantacuzino Palace in Bucharest.
On Monday, the Romanian Athenaeum and the Bucharest National Opera will host the exhibitions “George Enescu, Promoter of Child Prodigies” and “History of a Masterpiece: George Enescu’s Oedipe.”
Starting January 15 to 30, the “George Enescu in the Time of the Great War (1914-1918)” exhibition will be available for visitation at Bucharest Mall Vitan.
In conjunction with National Culture Day on Monday, cultural-educational projects are planned at the National George Enescu Museum’s branches in Bacau and Sinaia.
The George Enescu National Museum showcases permanent exhibitions across all its locations, offering insights into the life and work of the renowned musician, along with rotating exhibitions on diverse themes.
