International Tattoo Convention back in Bucharest this weekend
The ninth edition of the International Tattoo Convention Bucharest is due this weekend October 19-21, an event dedicated to the unconventional tattoos, one of the most important themed convention in Europe. The event is taking place at Crystal Palace Ballrooms in the Capital, near the Palace of Parliament entrance from 198A Calea Rahovei.
Over 100 international and national tattoo parlors are available for those 8,000 expected visitors. 2,000 permanent tattoos will be made during 33 hours of the event.
The tat displays will be dubbed by the food trucks and entertainment areas, with concerts, contests and magic shows available every day from Friday to Sunday, from 12.30 to 23.00h.
Among the special guests this year there are David Lebrava (US), Rich Morrison (US), Alan & Kepa (Romania), Black Prez (US), Sic’Nis (UK) or Cervena Fox (UK), the famous burlesque model.

Tat fans will be able to book sessions at the best national and international tattoo artists, for tattoos or piercings.
One ticket is RON 20/day. The pass for three days is RON 50, while the VIP pass, which includes access to the exclusive party is RON 150.
A tattoo means a design made by inserting ink, dyes and pigments, either indelible or temporary, into the dermis layer of the skin to change the pigment. The art of making tattoos is tattooing.
Tattoos fall into three broad categories: purely decorative (with no specific meaning); symbolic (with a specific meaning pertinent to the wearer); pictorial (a depiction of a specific person or item). In addition, tattoos can be used for identification such as ear tattoos on livestock as a form of branding.
