The latest concert show by famous pianist and composer Havasi will take place at Sala Palatului in Bucharest this autumn. The performance is part of the world tour HAVASI Landmark World Tour. The opening concert of the tour took place at Carnegie Hall in New York. The American media described HAVASI as „Hungary’s most important musical export after Bartók”.
In Bucharest, Havasi will perform on November 22, starting 8 p.m.
The concert is a spectacular visual and acoustic experience. The original, innovative works belong 100% to HAVASI. The show will gets together various artists representing the piano, solo, rock guitar, strings orchestra and so on. The audience is transposed in a fascinating journey, enhanced by the latest technologies on sound, lights and video projections.
Ex-Dead Can Dance member, Lisa Gerrard-special guest
The Havasi concert in Bucharest will have a special guest, Australian-born vocalist Lisa Gerrard, associate composer and singer of the Gladiator soundtrack, which was nominated for Oscar and won a Golden Globe. Gerrard’s voice can be seldom heard in the best-sold hits at Hollywood such as Baraka, Heat, Mission Impossible II, Man on Fire și The Insider.
HAVASI is one of the most successful stories of the instrumental music. He is the only classic pianist who is regularly filling stadiums due to his own songs. This latest unique show is based on the original concept of the US art director Brian Burke (who also signed Celine Dion’s „The New Day” din Las Vegas, Il Divo, America’s Got Talent) and of the French visual designer Gilles Papain (Cirque du Soleil, Marseilles opera, Ballet de Monte Carlo).
HAVASI performed in front of mire than 46,000 people during one single weekend at Papp Laszlo Sports Arena in Budapesta, a show that brought the artist to the second place in Billboard Boxscore and Pollstar charts on the tickets sold worldwide.
